I designed and deployed a production-ready autonomous AI agent that monitors conversations on X (Twitter), evaluates engagement signals in real time, and posts context-aware, human-like replies without manual intervention.
The system was built to scale safely, avoid spam behavior, respect platform limits, and maintain a natural human tone indistinguishable from a real user.
Social conversations on X move fast, especially around live events and breaking news. Manual engagement was too slow to catch high-momentum conversations, inconsistent in tone and timing, not scalable across dozens of relevant accounts, prone to duplication and human error.
The goal was to create a fully automated engagement engine that could detect high-value conversations, decide whether to reply, generate context-relevant responses, post replies safely and reliably, store full observability for audits and iteration.
